My love for Neuroscience stems from a deeper curiosity towards reason, reality and the experience of being human. I’ve just graduated from studying Neuroscience at Minerva which took me to 7 countries over the course of 4 years. The travelling presented an ideal opportunity for me to create my own lab rotations and explore multiple branches of Neuroscience in labs across the world. This was the trigger for Unexplored Neuroscience as I realized that there are so many different lenses to which we can understand the brain, and so many more that I have not explored.
For this reason (& oh, the current pandemic), I've deferred my graduate school offer to build the Neuroscience community I've always wanted to exist. Unexplored Neuroscience is my quest to fill in the gaps of my understanding of Neuroscience, and to fill in the gaps of traditional education which may limit the extent to which students holistically experience Neuroscience. This is also my way of exploring the intersection between creativity and Neuroscience, which I've found to be extremely important (and fun!) but something which we lack a training ground for. I've always wished to be in a community bonded by inquiry, creativity and the love for Neuroscience - so why not create it?
